- Mike represents Microsoft BASIC, the foundational software of Microsoft, first released as Altair BASIC in 1975. He also additionally represents MIDAS, an unreleased Microsoft operating system which file system (FAT12) influenced 86-DOS, and in turn became the basis of MS-DOS and PC-DOS.[1]

- Mike's full first name Mikelo is an Esperanto variant of Michael.
- Mike's original surname was Basile, but changed it to Bellevue after founding Myriad Starters to distance himself from his past in Hectastra Faire.
