Version 1.0

UNIVER.SYS version 1.0 marked the transition from Silicon Medley's OS-tan fanon status to a standalone universe based on technology gijinka. The shift happened somewhere on late 2022 to early 2023.

A Path Less Traveled

After shelving their previous project, Rizzonen decided to give a shot on an independent, original universe, that doesn't compromise their interests and creative vision to a perceived "canon". Thus, UNIVER.SYS 1.0' earliest development began in late 2022 with new designs of Nix, Lisa, and Estelle, which referenced advertising materials and pop culture instead of pure hardware or GUI colors.

In UNIVER.SYS 1.0, many changes were made to separate the characters from being under the OS-tan umbrella, including calling the characters ase TANs, and setting the universe in the fictional world called Innovatia. The Admin concept of Silicon Medley was carried over, portraying them as a human species separate from the TANs.

During this time, Rizzonen was fascinated with idol culture, particularly in 1980s Japan, and came up with the concept of TAN idols and their struggles in the entertainment industry, in lieu of physical combat and wars portrayed by the OS-tan fanon of old.
