Mikko Rautiainen is a Techne from Virta, and founding member of Ilmavasara Forge unit.
History
Mikko was published to Moeverse on February 12, 2024, though his design was later updated on December 25 of the same year.
Character
Mikko's stoic demeanor often made him seem aloof or unapproachable, preferring to spend most of his energy studying and practicing engineering and metalworking, or fishing in the lakes of Virta. Mikko only resorts to intimidation when necessary and found conflict to be a waste of time. However, he can be driven or even competitive when it comes to challenges posed to him.
While Mikko prefers solitude and tends to speak bluntly about most things, it is evident that he cares for others through his work. Many of the objects he builds prioritize ergonomics and are meant to last for a long time. He also has an interest in home hardware designs, his own designs more than often being minimalistic and natural.
Mikko is not a fan of being in the spotlight. Ironically his laconic personality only made him stand out more.
Trivia
- Mikko's name in Virta society was actually pretty common, and he doesn't seem to mind having the same name as others, seeing it as an advantage sometimes. At the same time, he's also perhaps the most famous Techne named Mikko.
- He doesn't like energy or performance-enhancing drinks, as he found their effects too much for his system.
- While introverted, Mikko is still aware of urban social norms, compared to someone from the outskirts like Santeri.
