Mikko represents the Nokia MikroMikko, also known as Nokia PC, a line of personal computers made by Nokia in the 1980s, some of them are IBM PC compatible and run MS-DOS. ^[1]
- His current appearance is largely based on the MikroMikko 3TT model, hence the sleeker look. He used to have a more clunky, less coordinated appearance, based on older models.
His first name is derived from MikroMikko itself.
- His last name Rautiainen has the root word rautia, a variant of rautio, archaic Finnish word for "smith", alluding to his industrial background.^[2]

His hair style and wool collar are inspired by the MikroMikko's ram/Aries logo. ^[4]
