Cobalt Coalition, also known as C2 (C-Squared), is a unit from BIM, and one of the longest-running Techne unit.
Aesthetics
Inspired by both the efficiency of their ancestors the Monads, and the pioneering works of early Calculator Techne, C2 members wore crisp, formal attire with minimal embellishments, mostly limited to simple patterns like pinstripes or patterned ties. Most of the time they also wear their unit emblems.

Myriad Starters
Cobalt Coalition invested significant funds for Myriad Starters as they saw potential for the small group from Logiciel. This also allowed Myriad Starters members, especially Amy, to form connections outside her home Ensemble. However, the alliance wasn't meant to last due to creative differences.
Ilmavasara Forge
They were the second unit outside Glaukos Cluster to recognize Mikko's craft (the first being Myriad Starters), and has partially funded several of his projects with IF. Mikko himself thought that the recognition was appreciated, and he does respect Cobalt Coalition's work ethics.
Trivia
- Cobalt Coalition's name was inspired by IBM's nickname Big Blue, and cobalt blue is a shade of blue.
- C2's relationship with Myriad Starters referenced the IBM-Microsoft alliance in the early 1980s until the 1990s.
- C2's relationship with Ilmavasara Forge and Mikko is derived from MikroMikko PC being IBM PC compatible in its later models. [1]
- Emma, the founder of Cobalt Coalition, represents the IBM 650, the first mass-produced computer. She is confirmed to be deceased.
