Although the Ensemble was growing rapidly and opening its borders to the broader world, Virta's Techne remained humble and resilient in their endeavors.

Trivia
- Virta is inspired by Nokia Corporation, and to an extent, Salora Oy, a Finnish electronics manufacturer that formed the joint venture Mobira Oy (later Nokia-Mobira Oy) in 1979, that gave rise to early Nokia mobile phones in the 1980s. The company was later merged with Nokia in 1989.
- The name Virta is taken from Nokianvirta, the river situated in the town of Nokia, Finland, where the eponymous company got its name from.
- In Finnish, virta can also mean stream or electric current.[1]
- Virta’s old territory, Luotela, is derived from the place of the same name in the Kalevala.
